My name is Maleaha Menifee and I have a Master’s in Clinical Psychology, with a specialization in Clinical Counseling from Capella University. I received my bachelors in Psychology from the University of Central Arkansas. I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families, focusing on the anger management, drug and substance abuse, and eating disorder populations. I have experience working with families in DSHS where I provided intensive family therapy. I have also worked in a behavioral health facility with children.
As a Mental Health Therapist, I believe in social justice and cultural acceptance. My clients have told me that I am easy to talk to and I have a direct, but honest approach. During your time with me, I will take a client-led approach where you are in control and set the tone for the sessions, while I provide guidance. Together we can create a safe and comfortable environment that helps you look through the world in the lens that is meant only for you to see.
Let’s establish those boundaries, overcome the generational trauma, allow yourself the space to grow, and value your peace of mind first. In our sessions, I want to assist you by providing an objective viewpoint to help you on your journey to a peaceful mindset. My goal for my clients is for them to come out of each session feeling more empowered and closer to meeting their goals.
