Biography:
If life feels heavy or uncertain right now, my hope is to offer you a calm, supportive place where you can breathe, reflect, and begin to heal at your own pace. I approach therapy with warmth, curiosity, and deep respect for everything you’ve carried to this moment. Whether you’re moving through trauma, anxiety, relationship stress, or major transitions, you deserve a space where you feel seen, understood, and supported. My goal is to walk alongside you with compassion as you reconnect with your strengths, build new coping tools, and create meaningful and gentle change. You do not have to navigate any of this alone—together, we will take steps that honor your pace, your story, and your healing journey.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) and Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) with more than five years of experience in behavioral health and over a decade supporting youth and families in educational settings. My heart has always been in helping others feel grounded, valued, and capable of growth. Over the years, I’ve worked with clients of all ages and backgrounds, each bringing their own unique stories and strengths.
What guides my work is authenticity, compassion, and the belief that people heal in connection—not in isolation. I strive to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere where you feel comfortable opening up at your own pace. I consider it a genuine privilege to support clients as they move toward healing, empowerment, and emotional wellness.
Therapeutic Philosophy:
My work is grounded in the belief that healing becomes possible when we feel safe, supported, and deeply understood. I view therapy as a holistic process that honors your mind, body, emotions, and lived experiences. Every part of you, your resilience, your struggles, your hopes, is welcome in the room. I believe that each person holds inner wisdom, and my role is to help you reconnect with that wisdom while offering tools, structure, and compassionate guidance.
I approach therapy as a collaborative relationship based on trust, empathy, and genuine connection. I recognize that our emotional well-being is shaped by many layers: our relationships, our environments, our identities, and the systems around us. Through a trauma- informed and culturally responsive lens, I meet you exactly where you are without judgment. Healing doesn’t need to be rushed; it unfolds in its own time. My intention is to help you find steadiness, clarity, and a renewed sense of self as you move forward.
Experience:
My experience spans crisis response, inpatient treatment, community mental health, and school- based counseling. At Compass Health, I supported individuals during some of their most vulnerable moments, offering crisis stabilization, compassionate listening, risk assessments, and grounding interventions. At Pioneer Center North, I worked closely with adults in inpatient treatment, helping them navigate trauma, addiction, recovery, and the emotional complexities that come with change.
In the school district, I supported high school students through one-on-one counseling, case management, and emotional skill-building. Whether working with teens or adults, my style remains consistent—calm, patient, and attuned to each person’s needs. I value collaboration, kindness, and building relationships that help clients feel safe, understood, and empowered.
